Our mission is to provide safe, decent, affordable housing for low to moderate income households.  The HFA assists first-time home buyers and also works with local governments, non-profits and other public and private partners to provide funding for affordable multi-family rental housing.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – INDIGO APARTMENTS

Notice is hereby given that the Housing Finance Authority of Pinellas County, Florida (the “Authority”) will hold and conduct a public hearing to be held on October 2, 2024 beginning at 9:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as such matters may be heard, at the at the offices of the Authority located at 450 Carillon Parkway, Suite 105, St. Petersburg, Florida  33716, for the purpose of receiving comments and hearing discussion concerning a plan of financing (within the meaning of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended), on the following:

The proposed issuance by the Authority of its Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds (Indigo Apartments), Series 2024, in an aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $22,000,000 in one or more installments or series at one or more times, the proceeds of which will be used to finance the acquisition, rehabilitation and equipping of a 208 unit multifamily rental housing facility for persons or families of moderate, middle or lesser income within the City of Clearwater, Pinellas County, known as the Indigo Apartments (fka Prospect Tower) located 801 Chestnut Street, Clearwater, Florida 33756, which will initially be owned and operated by SAH Indigo Holdings LP, a Florida limited partnership, or one of its affiliates.

All interested parties are invited to present their comments at the time and place set forth above.

Persons are advised that, if they decide to appeal any decision made at this hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings, and, for such purpose, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

Notice is hereby given that the Housing Finance Authority of Pinellas County, Florida (the “Authority”) will hold and conduct a public hearing to be held on October 2, 2024 beginning at 8:30 a.m. or as soon thereafter as such matters may be heard, at the at the offices of the Authority located at 450 Carillon Parkway, Suite 105, St. Petersburg, Florida  33716, for the purpose of receiving comments and hearing discussion concerning a plan of financing (within the meaning of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended), on the following:

The proposed issuance by the Authority of its Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds (Oakhurst Trace), Series 2024, in an aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $35,500,000 in one or more installments or series, the proceeds of which will be used to finance the acquisition, construction and equipping of a 220 unit multifamily rental housing facility for persons or families of moderate, middle or lesser income within the City of Pinellas Park, Pinellas County, to be located at the west side of U.S. Highway 19N, approximately 500 feet west of the intersection of Mainlands Boulevard W and U.S. Highway 19N, Pinellas Park, Florida, which will initially be owned and operated by SP Pinellas III LLC, a Florida limited liability company, or its affiliate.
